Week 3

Today I am at a different place then where I thought I would be in the beginning. I thought I would focus more on stereotypical doll like design features, but my designs have much more of a larger sculptural form thats much grander. Over this past weekend I created a small sample of the sticks I used in our stand session to create a rouched sample. I am happy with where I am Giles told me that I can step away from designing from my 3D stand pieces and to simply design from my research which I think is a good idea I would like to make sure all my work is correlated correctly and makes sense with my original ideas. I am going to work on “faggoting stitches” and how I can involve them in my ideas. I also have other ideas of creating almost a blurry like design and how I could realistically accomplish that.  I am confident at the moment and enjoying my process.
