PEER REVIEW 1:  I was excited today because I was well prepared with my homework I had multiple options of ideas for my project. My ideas were Isla De Munecas, Templo Mayor and another Island off the coast of Mexico. I feel really happy when I have a good idea with supporting evidence of why I should do this topic. I am always scared to kind of reveal what I want to do especially something about my culture I feel like I speak about it too much sometimes but I need to push those thoughts away because Latino culture is majorly unrepresented in the art and fashion world so I should feel proud. The idea of the Island of the dolls is really cool because who would think there would be an Island filled with Dolls. My peers thought that this was my best idea I felt they were interested in this creepy idea of almost memorialization of the girl that died in the canals and this man memorializes her by putting up the dolls. They said I should focus on the idea of them superstitions of the Mexican Culture and look at books of history of dolls

PEER REVIEW 2: My feedback today was that my research was well done. They enjoyed that my research was not only geographically about how Mexico is built similar to islands but was approached more conceptually. They enjoyed that I spoke about spirituality and superstition through the Mexican culture and how it’s similar to a sense of memorialization. They thought I could expand on the personal factors I felt as “being put back together” as my idea. I thought that my peers research was interesting I felt like they did well in terms of facts and evidence and they also had very intricate drawings. I believe following the feedback I will try to make the overall topic of my project a bit more linear because I feel like I do have many conversations going on I also want to think about possible shapes and forms to focus on.
